In bwUni.digital, Baden-Württemberg's universities are developing comprehensive solution concepts for the digitalization of administrative processes.

bwUni.digital is a framework concept of Baden-Württemberg's universities that aims to create a culture of innovation for the digital transformation of administrative processes at universities.

The program committee of bwUni.digital connects the universities, the Ministry of Science, Research and Arts, the think tanks, the concrete implementation projects and the corresponding consortia organizationally. The members were nominated by the respective university.
Dr. Julia Winter (STS) and Dr. Martin Nußbaumer (SCC) are KIT's members of the program committee.

Think tanks support the universities in finding modern and forward-looking digital solutions for administrative processes on a specific topic. The respective think tank is appointed in its topic-related composition by the program committee. Initially, the think tanks systematically develop holistic solution concepts on selected topics in the form of white papers. These solution concepts, which are also competitive in an international comparison, are available as a working basis for further implementation projects.
In line with the cooperative idea, universities and universities of applied sciences can then come together to implement the solutions described above.

The Communications working group makes bwUni.digital known in the institutions in the long term. As an interface to the communication departments of the respective institutions, it develops content that provides information about current projects and solutions. Achim Grindler (SCC) is a member of the working group for KIT.
